Same here. For some reason the automatic login works since I cleared the cookies. Smile

didn't work for me ... strange thing is, that I see the correct unreads and my PM-message as if I was logged in, but as soon as I click on the "you have no new messages" I have to log in ... I am using IE btw.

just found a solution to the double-log-in problem (which also featured no new posts shown and no keep logged in):

try entering the forum using the direct link to your inbox, works right for me ...

FYI - I posted that about a month ago, but the title of the thread may be misleading:

The one browser I use at work ( I forget which one it is ) always "thinks" for me. I specifically don't type "www", but as soon as I hit ENTER, it puts them in for me. It's such a big help. Mad

I just starting having a logon problem tonight - hope its just a internet glitch and not the site. WHen I log in, I get a DNS error and a missing link page. I have to retype in the forum url, and then I'm signed in. Really weird - its never done this before.

I get the same error page when I log out too!!!

i got that myself earlier, I havnt made any changes to the forum... in the past 48 hours so Im hoping its something my hosts is messing with and will go in the next day...if not I will try to fix

although it does seem only to be the login/out confirmation page if you login then get that error, just retype www.videopac.org/forums in your url and youl see the login/out worked ????

autologin is not affected it seems.

ok, its definately something wrong with the forums and not server, I just made another forum

which worked, until the point I installed this forums current backup and then it went the same way.

I dont want you guys to loose any valuable info so Im going to ask that you dont post anything important for now !!!, please feel free to post crap and chat but I need to find the most recent backup which is not foobar !!

which may mean going back some time as I only backup once every 3weeks or so
/my bad
although I will copy any important topics
