readily available, and a popular game ar the time as Star Wars was a big hit with that generation, and we could pretend we were shooting down tie fighters, which this clearly is an attempt at recreating, despite no licensing agreements. If you were to buy a console with games, odds are this would be in the collection. There are more variations to this game than any other, maybe second to Race... Plus+, Jopac, Radiola, Siera, Magnavox, Brazilian, Canadian, you name it they had it !, it was very common in most standard releases and even quite common in Plus variant. Plus version had a typical higher resolution background added but made no difference to the active foreground and play graphics.
PLAYINGWell This I have played, Quite a lot as it happens, it was one of the carts I had in my youth, Star Wars was the "In Thing" at the time, and the graphics of certain crafts were obviously replicating Tie Fighters, what the game lacked was positional memory, if one of the enemy crafts disappeared from the screen, and you followed it in that direction, you were wasting your time as the enemies were randomly generated...a little more effort and that would have made the world of difference to the game.. so sadly for me it's a 3/10 The Basic game is a 3D shooter, that's right 3D...long before doom. position your target over the approaching enemy and FIRE !!!!
